Creation Care

We are part of God’s stunningly beautiful and diverse creation.

God wants all creation to be fully alive and enjoy his goodness.

‘And God said, ‘Let there be’…life! ‘And God saw that it was good’ (Genesis 1).

Our care for creation, including each other, is part of God’s good purpose for the world.

Our Church

We want to reflect care for God’s creation in the whole life of our church - in our worship and teaching, buildings, land, lifestyle and community and global engagement.

Our community garden provides opportunities for our local community to grow food, appreciate nature and wildlife and find a place for contemplation.

And we’re looking to work with others - both in London and internationally.

We are really pleased this has been recognised through the Eco Church award scheme - being awarded Bronze!

But this is the start. There is a lot more to do and discover.

Creation Care - Survey

Creation Care is a simple survey aimed at helping households make small changes which help to care for God's earth, through an award scheme of bronze, silver and gold. It is suitable for a huge variety of different circumstances, whether you live on your own or with others, or are in rented accommodation or own your home and gives you suggestions of ways in which households can make the next steps. If you would like to find out how you can help to care for God’s creation, please sign up at Creation Care and take the household survey. Here you will find resources for how to pray and take practical steps to lowering your impact on the environment.
