Welcome to St Thomas with St Stephen.

Church of England logo

We are an Anglican church in the triangle formed by the Balham, Clapham South and Streatham Hill railway stations in southwest London. Our vision is to worship - celebrating our faith, to encourage belonging - building a community of hope and to grow in our blessing - transforming our community with the love of God.

We hold a variety of services each week at both of our church buildings; St Thomas' and St Stephen's. Every Sunday, you can find us at 9.30am at St Thomas' and 11.00am and 7.00pm at St Stephen's. On the first and third Sunday of each month, we have Teatime Praise  at St Thomas'. Every Wednesday at St Thomas', we have Prayers & Bears. All are welcome to join us at any of our services.

We are currently in a time of 'interregnum'; the period from when one Vicar, or Priest-in-Charge, departs and another is appointed. We are delighted to announce that Rev. Martin Gordon has been appointed as our new Priest-in-Charge, and will be joining us in June 2014.

Please take a look around our website to see some of what we get up to. If you would like further information, please contact the church office.

Annual Parochial Church Meeting

On Sunday, 27 April 2014 we have our Annual Parochial Church Meeting ('APCM'). This is the time where we meet as a whole church to review the previous year and discuss our future. Download the annual church report here. Instead of our normal services, we will be having a joint service at 10am at St Stephen's. The APCM will follow at 11.30am followed by a bring and share lunch.

Community Matters

All residents in our parish will be receiving the latest edition of our newsletter, Community Matters - Easter 2014. Keep an eye out for it in the post!
