Church Weekend Financial Support

Please read the following guidelines before completing the funding application form and also ensure you have had a conversation with our Vicar.

Please be aware that the bursary will not be applied until you have booked onto the weekend and your deposit payment has been paid.

Criteria for applying for Financial Support

Our Church Weekend Financial Support exists to ensure that no one is prevented from going on the weekend because they cannot afford the full fees.

1.    In applying for financial support, you are confirming that the award of that bursary will enable people to go who would otherwise be unable to go.

2.   The funding exists to support households where income is particularly low; usually this will mean that the household will be receiving welfare benefits such as income support, or they are a lone parent, or struggling due to cost of living and able to provide a rationale for the application.

3.   We will also support families where two or more children are attending and where the family’s finances cannot afford the fees for all of them.

4.    The household receiving financial support to attend the Church Weekend will need to have been regularly attending our Church (e.g. midweek, or on Sunday).
