After a long period of oscillating between “yes, it’s on” and “no, it’s off”, we are delighted that the Weir Link has received a grant of about £200,000, most of which is to be spent on the refurbishment of St Stephen’s community rooms, ie, most of the church building apart from the main worship area. The Weir Link has been so successful that it needs extra space and we are making available our space during the week to enable them to run a range of health-enhancing programmes.

As a result of the refurbishment we need to close the building over the summer.
