Bryan College Chorale

Bryan College Chorale

The Bryan College Chorale and Chamber Singers return to visit us on their fourth European tour, to present a concert of sacred choral music on Friday, 14th May, at 8.00pm at St Thomas’ Church. The programme will consist of a variety of sacred music, including classical, spirituals, gospel and contemporary.

The Bryan Chorale consists of 34 singers representing several states across North America. Under the direction of Dr David Luther, the group’s concerts and recordings have been received enthusiastically throughout the United States and four tours to Europe, including the Lincoln Center in New York City and Westminster Abbey in London.

The Chamber Singers, an eighteen voice select ensemble within the Chorale, is in constant demand for church concerts, school appearances, and social events. Its travels include seven tours to the Bahamas, one to Southern California and two invitations to sing at The Pentagon in Washington, DC. Bryan College is a four-year, Christian liberal arts institution with a mission “to educate students to become servants of Christ to make a difference in today’s world”.

Focus on the Family in Colorado Springs, Colorado, says this about the Chorale: “What a blessing the Bryan Chorale was to our Focus staff. The concert was superb. Their voices combine power and blend in a way that has an almost mesmerising quality – and makes you want to leap to your feet in applause.”

Tickets are available from the parish office at £5.
