Ruth and Paul Turner live in Arequipa, Peru, working with Latin Link. Ruth (née Kirkpatrick) had been a mission partner with us for a number of years before her marriage to Paul in September 2009.

Ruth’s job has been to organise the short term work in Peru, Striders who come for up to two years, and Steppers who come for 1–3 months. She is key in setting up the projects in Peru, and then in orientation, support and debriefing of all individuals and teams. Her work has involved much travelling over Peru. Ruth was fundamental in setting up the project for our Step Teams in 2008 and 2009, and she made sure they were fine whilst in Peru.

Paul works at the Shalom Centre in Arequipa, which is a school for disabled children.He also runs marathons!
