Our Purpose – to be a believing and fruitful church: blessing the world through Jesus’ love in service; worshipping in vibrancy and variety; offering welcome and belonging.

Our Values

In our life together, we point to – and are agents of – the life of God’s Kingdom, both now and its future fulfilment. We are in Christ and with him seek God’s will through the inspiration and power of the Holy Spirit. By this, we receive our values, which shape all we do. They are based on the nature of God and his revelation in the Scriptures, and his call to his church to reflect him and be Christ in this place. We highlight as our values:

• loving Jesus and nurturing faith
• welcoming and accepting all
• discovering our strength by celebrating diversity
• seeking God’s transformation of individuals and our community.

Our mission is developed in terms of the three words in our logo.

Worshipping – Building Hope

Using the gifts of the Holy Spirit given to each and everyone, we will:

• develop suitable environments for different forms of worship
• resource our worship generously
• enable diverse expressions of worship
• seek vibrant worship through the Holy Spirit
• preach the Bible faithfully.

Belonging – Growing in Hope

Discovering our identity and value in and through each other as the body of Christ, we will:

• offer welcome and a deep hospitality to all
• encourage everyone to use their gifts
• value, nurture and care for one another
• encourage each other to grow in faith
• engage with the challenges and joys of diversity.

Blessing – Offering Hope

We will:

• proclaim – by word, example and action – the good news of Christ
• share God’s love with all those we meet
• work for God’s Kingdom of love, justice and peace
• be a people of generosity
• seek the well-being of our community, listening to and loving our neighbours as ourselves
• recognise our place in and support the worldwide church.
